Back to school is here! It's been great seeing students again, even if it's under strange circumstances. There's always a feeling of new beginnings with the start of the academic year. We have been working on setting goals for the new term, do you have any goals yourself?
Some successes of the Summer include running lessons online of which has had a positive response. The Summer concert was well attended on Zoom and all the children did brilliantly! For some this was their first ever concert!
Very happy to have all 4 of my students pass with distinction for the LCM Step 1 exam!
Not only did they do amazingly well, they also had to do their exam online which is a strange experience for anyone and it was their first exam!
I am looking forward to helping them to carry on with this success with the next grade or repetoire of their choice.
“Rea has been an inspirational and encouraging piano tutor for our daughter. She really enjoys the lessons and gets a lot out of them, often learning theory through playing songs she loves which has kept her interest going. It was great to see her perform her first zoom concert recently, and Rea was there throughout to support her!” Ed
'Rea has been teaching my 9 year old twins piano for over three years. They really enjoy their lessons with her and have just passed their first piano exam with distinction. Rea's teaching style is very easy-going, yet thorough, and the children have learnt about rhythm and music theory, as well as how to read notes and hit the keys. She takes time to ensure they understand the finer points, such as musical terms and dynamics, and encourages them to make up their own melodies to broaden their musical understanding. She is always very enthusiastic about their work in the lessons, which helps build their confidence and make learning a musical instrument a very positive experience.' Louise
'Rea is a wonderfully nuturing and knowledgeable teacher. My daughter, who is very shy, loves her lessons. As a professional musician I am happy knowing my daughter is receiving top notch teaching!' Kerry
